Donovan loves teeth! But what’s fascinating about Donovan’s story is that he didn’t always dream of being a dentist.
When Donovan was a kid, he wanted to be a pediatrician. That all changed one day when he visited a museum with his family.
At the museum, Donovan learned all about teeth—molars, bicuspids, incisors, and more. He discovered that teeth are actually bones, but unlike other bones, they’re on the outside of your body! He was amazed by how teeth work together to help us eat, talk, and smile. That visit to the museum sparked Donovan’s curiosity, and from then on, he knew he wanted to help people take care of their teeth.
Donovan worked hard in school and studied dentistry. Now, he’s a dentist at a practice in the city where he works with three other dentists. Together, they provide affordable dental care to kids and seniors in the neighborhood. Donovan loves helping people keep their smiles healthy and bright.
