Dionne Grayson is a visionary leader committed to helping individuals discover their purpose, believe in their potential, and boldly pursue their dreams— By Design.
As Principal of Building Your Dreams, Dionne helps businesses strengthen capacity, while empowering individuals to succeed. Dionne is also a certified Career Development Coach and has worked with several notable organizations and educational institutions in Wisconsin. Dionne, along with 22 youth, co-founded Lead2Change—a career-readiness organization powered by Dionne’s patented program Dream.Explore.Build. To date, nearly 1,000 young people have successfully completed this program.​
With a career spanning more than 25 years, Dionne has earned many accolades; in 2017, she was named a Woman of Influence by The Milwaukee Business Journal. In 2018, Dionne was recognized as a Leading Woman in Business by O, The Oprah Magazine. Her greatest accomplishment, however, is the title “mentor,” given to her by small business owners and young people across the country.
Dionne is a published author of The Making: Trust God to be the Chairman of your Boardroom, By Design: Your 12-Week Goal-Setting Journal, and a 10-book The Children’s Gifts Series that helps children explore their gifts and how they can experience a career full of excitement and purpose.
Dionne received her undergraduate degree in Clinical Psychology from Alverno College and a graduate degree in Social Work Administration from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. She resides in Milwaukee with her husband Vern.
